Interim & Contract

We recognize that our clients may not always have the need to hire professionals on a permanent basis. If you have need for temporary leadership over a department or project for your organization, we can apply our efforts to finding the right interim or contract Director/Executive for your purposes. These interim leaders may be serve on a temporary basis to address daily needs and duties while the search for the right, permanent employee continues. Or they may fulfill temporary needs for projects, transitions, or long-term absence of the permanent employee. These employment terms may last anywhere from 3 months to 8 months or more. 

Interim leaders provide guidance and expertise whether you need someone to facilitate the completion of projects, oversee preparation for surveys and inspections, manage and unite departments during times of transition, or fill in while permanent leadership is sought. The interim and contract candidates we work with are competent in the following areas: 

  • 20+ years of leadership experience within the healthcare industry

  • Advanced knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, DOH, DNV and state regulations and accreditation standards

  • Experience managing and designing budgets and cutting costs within their organizations through budgeting and/or implementing new practices. 

  • Advanced academic degrees and/or up-to-date certifications in their field of expertise

Payment terms for an interim/contract employee hired through The Sexton Group are as follows: The fee for our service will be a percentage of the hourly payment made to the interim employee.
